3660m x 524m are the new OSE Logistic Center in Thriassio by Athens.
The Goods-Terminal costs about 300.000.000 Euros and is near the Attiki Odos the Motorway A6.
For the new Sea-Container-Terminal in Athens-Perama and the OSE Logistic Center the Greek Railway Company construct the new lane of Mount-Aegaleo how connect the two terminals via the 3600m long Perama-Tunnel.
The Logistic-Center will be 2010 ready. Then Athens will be one of the importants Logistical Centers in Europe.

OBJECTIVE: The Joint Venture ProLogis (USA) – J & P AVAX (Greece) assigned to TRADEMCO part of the technical proposal in the context of a concession bid (construction – operations) of a Logistics Center, property of GAIAOSE, in Thriassio Pedio, 20km west of Athens.

METHODOLOGY- DESCRIPTION: The activities of the support for the 60 hectars land area to be concessed, included:

  • · Contribution in the development of the Master Plan.
  • · Layout of internal circulation system (road, rail) and of accesses.
  • · Layout of parking areas and signing.
  • · Development of quality assurance system and of quality controls.
  • · Proposals for mitigation measures and for respecting the environmental terms.
  • RESULTS: In collaboration with other consultants, a technical proposal has been prepared for a built up area of 250,000 sq.m. in accordance with the conditions and specifications of the tender.
